Refund policy

At TAMMY & BENJAMIN, we take great care in the craftsmanship and quality of our creations. If you are not entirely satisfied with your order, we offer an extended 30-day return policy from the date of receipt, under the conditions detailed below.

1. Returns Within 30 Days

You have 30 days from the date you receive your order to request a return or exchange.

This period includes your statutory 14-day right of withdrawal and a commercial extension of up to 30 days.

To submit a request, please contact our Customer Service team at cs@tammyandbenjamin.com, specifying your order number, the items concerned, and whether you would like a refund or an exchange.

Our team will provide you with return instructions and, where your order is eligible, a prepaid return label.

2. Return Conditions

Items must be returned with their accessories and, whenever possible, their original dust bag and packaging. We recommend carefully protecting the products during transport.

During the first 14 days: in accordance with the statutory right of withdrawal, you may inspect and handle the product to the extent necessary to establish its nature, characteristics, and functioning, as you would in a physical store. Any depreciation resulting from excessive handling may lead to a proportionate reduction in the refund.

From day 15 to day 30: items must be unworn, show no signs of use, be complete, and remain in their original condition. Returns that do not meet these conditions may be refused under our commercial return policy.

Personalized items: items made to the customer's specifications or clearly personalized are excluded from the statutory right of withdrawal and our commercial return policy for a change of mind, without prejudice to applicable statutory warranties.

3. Return Shipping Costs

Mainland France and Belgium

Returns made voluntarily from mainland France and Belgium are complimentary. A prepaid return label can be requested from our Customer Service team.

This complimentary service does not apply to items from our Archives, Clearance, Atelier Sale / Private Sale, and Second Life selections, for which voluntary return shipping costs remain the customer's responsibility.

Other Countries and French Overseas Territories

For voluntary returns from other countries and French overseas territories, return shipping costs are the customer's responsibility.

We recommend using a tracked shipping service and retaining proof of shipment.

In the event of a defective or non-conforming product, or an error on our part, the necessary return costs will be covered by TAMMY & BENJAMIN in accordance with applicable law.

4. Refunds

Statutory withdrawal: if you exercise your right of withdrawal within 14 days of receiving your order, the refund will be issued without undue delay and no later than 14 days after you notify us of your decision.

In accordance with the law, we may defer the refund until we have received the returned items or proof of their shipment, whichever occurs first.

The refund includes all amounts legally due, including the price of the items and, where required by law, the original delivery costs corresponding to the standard delivery method. Any additional charges for a more expensive delivery method are not refunded under this obligation.

Commercial returns from day 15 to day 30: refunds are issued within 14 days following receipt and inspection of the returned items, subject to any applicable special conditions.

Refunds are made to the original payment method, unless another refund method has been expressly agreed upon. Additional bank processing time may be required before the funds appear in your account.

For items purchased at a discount, the refund corresponds to the price actually paid, without prejudice to any other amounts refundable under applicable law.

5. Exchanges

You may request an exchange for a different model or color within 30 days of receiving your order, subject to the return conditions and availability of the requested item.

If the new item has a different price, the difference will be adjusted with our Customer Service team.

When an item requires production time, this will be communicated to you before the exchange is confirmed.

Personalized items are not eligible for commercial exchanges due to a change of mind, without prejudice to your statutory rights.

6. Special Conditions

Archives, Clearance, and Atelier Sale / Private Sale

These items benefit from the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal and applicable statutory warranties.

Archives and Clearance items are also eligible for our extended 30-day commercial return policy, subject to the conditions outlined above.

Any specific commercial conditions applicable to Atelier Sale / Private Sale events are communicated at the time of purchase.

Voluntary return shipping costs for these items remain the customer's responsibility.

Second Life

Second Life items benefit from the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal, with refunds issued to the original payment method in accordance with the law.

For voluntary returns accepted from day 15 to day 30, the refund will take the form of store credit valid for one year.

Voluntary return shipping costs remain the customer's responsibility.

Pre-orders and Responsible Production

Items purchased through pre-orders or our Responsible Production selection benefit from the same return conditions as other items, except where a statutory exemption applies to clearly personalized products.

The production lead time or preferential pricing does not remove the statutory right of withdrawal.

7. Defective Products and Warranties

TAMMY & BENJAMIN products benefit from applicable statutory warranties, including the two-year statutory guarantee of conformity and the legal warranty against hidden defects under French law.

In addition, eligible products benefit from a one-year commercial warranty against manufacturing defects, under the conditions defined in our warranty policy.

Items from our Second Life and Atelier Sale / Private Sale selections are excluded from this additional commercial warranty. However, they remain covered by applicable statutory warranties.

If you notice a defect or an issue, please contact our Customer Service team, providing your order number and, if possible, photographs.

Depending on the circumstances and applicable rights, a repair, replacement, price reduction, or refund may be arranged.

The costs necessary to bring a product into conformity under the statutory guarantee are covered by TAMMY & BENJAMIN.

Before returning an item, please contact our Customer Service team to receive instructions appropriate to your order.

Please include your order number inside the parcel and return all accessories supplied with the product.

You may also return your item free of charge directly to our Paris boutique at the same address.

9. Statutory Right of Withdrawal

In accordance with Articles L221-18 and following of the French Consumer Code, you have 14 days from the date you receive your order to notify us of your decision to withdraw from the purchase, without providing any justification.

You may exercise this right by sending an unambiguous written statement to cs@tammyandbenjamin.com or by using our withdrawal form.

You then have a further 14 days to return the items concerned.

The refund conditions and statutory exceptions are detailed above and in our Terms and Conditions of Sale.
