At TAMMY & BENJAMIN, every order is carefully prepared before dispatch. We offer delivery within France and internationally, depending on the destinations served by our logistics partners.
1. Shipping Destinations
We deliver to mainland France, the European Union, and internationally, subject to the availability of shipping services in the destination country.
The delivery options available for your address, along with any applicable shipping fees, are displayed during checkout.
Certain destinations may be subject to logistical or customs restrictions beyond our control.
2. Order Preparation and Dispatch
In-stock items: orders are generally prepared and dispatched within 1 to 3 business days after confirmation, except in exceptional circumstances.
Personalized items: additional preparation time may be required to complete the personalization. The relevant information is provided on our website or during checkout.
Pre-orders: items available for pre-order require a production or restocking period before dispatch. The estimated lead time is indicated on the product page.
Responsible Production: items from this selection generally require approximately 24 days of production before dispatch. This period may vary depending on the model and production schedule.
Our bags are manufactured in our partner workshops in Italy and undergo a final quality inspection in Paris before dispatch.
Preparation and production lead times are separate from shipping transit times.
3. Estimated Delivery Times
Once your order has been dispatched, the usual estimated transit times are as follows:
- Mainland France: generally 2 to 5 business days, depending on the carrier and selected service.
- European Union: generally 3 to 5 business days.
- United Kingdom: generally 2 to 3 business days.
- North America: generally 2 to 5 business days.
- Asia and the Middle East: generally 2 to 5 business days.
- Other destinations: delivery times vary depending on the country and available services.
These timeframes are estimates only and are calculated from the date of dispatch, not the date the order is placed.
They may vary depending on the destination, customs procedures, shipping conditions, periods of high activity, or circumstances beyond our control.
Estimated delivery times do not, in themselves, constitute a guarantee of delivery on a specific date. However, they do not limit any delivery commitments agreed upon when placing the order or the consumer's statutory rights in the event of a delay.
4. Shipping Methods and Fees
TAMMY & BENJAMIN offers different delivery methods depending on the destination and available services.
Standard delivery: complimentary for eligible destinations and orders, according to the conditions displayed during checkout.
Express delivery: available for selected destinations, according to the options and rates displayed during checkout.
Pickup point delivery: offered where this service is available for the selected destination.
In-store pickup: when this option is available at checkout, you may collect your order from our Paris boutique at 33 rue de Poitou, 75003 Paris, once its availability has been confirmed.
Any applicable shipping fees are displayed before the order is finalized.
5. Shipping Carriers and Order Tracking
Depending on the destination and selected shipping method, orders may be handled by FedEx, DHL Express, Colissimo, or Mondial Relay, or another suitable logistics partner.
Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a confirmation email containing the available tracking information.
Tracking information may take some time to update after the carrier has collected the parcel.
Depending on the service used and local conditions, the carrier may arrange another delivery attempt, offer collection from a pickup point, or request additional information.
6. Customs Duties and Import Taxes
For orders delivered outside the European Union, customs duties, import taxes, or customs clearance fees may be applied by the authorities in the destination country.
Unless expressly stated otherwise during checkout, these charges are not included in the amount paid to TAMMY & BENJAMIN and remain the responsibility of the recipient.
They may be requested directly by customs authorities or collected by the carrier before or upon delivery.
The amount of these charges depends in particular on local regulations, the declared value of the goods, and customs clearance procedures.
TAMMY & BENJAMIN does not determine these amounts and cannot guarantee that no additional import charges will apply.
Any promotional offers relating to customs duties and import taxes are subject to the conditions specified at the time of purchase.
7. Shipping Address
Customers are advised to carefully check their shipping address, contact details, and any information required for delivery before confirming their order.
In the event of an error or a requested change, please contact our Customer Service team as soon as possible.
Address changes may not always be possible once an order has been prepared or dispatched and remain subject to the carrier's capabilities.
Automated parcel lockers or similar collection addresses cannot be accepted when the selected carrier does not support this type of delivery.
8. Preparation or Delivery Delays
The preparation, production, and transit times communicated on our website are estimates based on the information available at the time of purchase.
They may change due to factors including our workshops' production schedules, raw material availability, quality inspections, customs procedures, or logistical disruptions.
In the event of a delay, our Customer Service team is available to check the status of your order and provide the information available.
Estimated timeframes do not affect the consumer's statutory rights. Where a delivery date or timeframe has been agreed upon when placing the order, that commitment remains applicable in accordance with the law.
Where no delivery date or timeframe has been agreed upon, statutory delivery provisions apply, including the obligation to deliver within a maximum of 30 days following the conclusion of the contract, unless otherwise agreed.
Where the legal conditions are met, the consumer may request delivery within an additional reasonable period and, if delivery still does not take place, terminate the contract. In certain circumstances provided for by law, termination may take place without granting an additional period.
If the contract is terminated in accordance with the applicable legal provisions, the amounts due will be refunded in accordance with the law.
9. Lost, Damaged, or Undelivered Parcels
If your parcel is marked as delivered but you have not received it, if the tracking information has stopped updating, or if you notice an issue upon delivery, please contact our Customer Service team.
We will carry out the necessary checks with the carrier and assist you in resolving the issue.
In the event of a damaged parcel, we recommend keeping the packaging whenever possible and sending us photographs of the parcel and the items concerned to facilitate our investigation.
Failure to immediately report an issue to the carrier does not affect the consumer's statutory rights.
In accordance with applicable law, the risk of loss or damage generally passes to the consumer when they, or a third party designated by them other than the carrier proposed by the seller, take physical possession of the goods.
10. Returns and Refunds
If you wish to return an item after receiving it, you benefit from our 30-day return policy, which includes the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal and an extended commercial return period subject to certain conditions.
